WORKSHOP: Fanciful-n-Frollicing Froggies: On Flavorful-n-Favorable Floaties with a Fresh Flower

MINI EXHIBIT + RECOGNITION CEREMONY FOR FAMILIES OF THE ARTIST: Starting at 5:30 PM for families/friends of the artist, following the last student workshop! Please pencil in this special event on your creative calendar!

Tuesdays/Ages 6 -12/April 8, 15, 22, 29 + May 6, 13 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

Wednesdays/Ages 6 -12/April 9, 16, 23, 30 + May 7, 14 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

Thursdays/Ages 6 -12/April 10, 17, 24 + May 8, 15 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

*Note: FIRST FRIDAY May is the Family Block Party in downtown, 4 - 8 PM! Be sure to add this springtime event to your calendar!

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Artists will cleverly craft creating a much-loved 3D springtime sculpture to showcase focused on a fantastic-n-fantasy froggie floating on a floatie which may even include a fresh flower!?! Artists will focus on construction as a child-centered community using initial team building/construction. Artists will construct a happy-hoppity-handmade armature, to then masterfully mache, to then playfully paint, to then delightfully detail, of course, with paint & personality for a p-o-p...or should we say h-o-p. Artists will dream up a name for their fanciful-n-frollicing friend before they hippity-hop into the anticipated-n-artfully awaited mini art show! Artists will explore a crafty construction creating an animal armature, a simple paper mache process, personality & pop to personalize with paint, and exciting embellishments! We'll bring it all together with a mini-exhibit + recognition ceremony display for creative interaction for our collaborative community of children! We love our mini-exhibits as they create confidence & community connection for artists to sparkle + shine + showcase their success in the studio!

Oh YES!!! A custom + colorful + clever creation, celebrating childhood in constant creative commotion, crafted & curated by children in the heart of the creative community of Carbondale | CO.

*Mini art show & recognition ceremonies are celebrated at the end of each last workshop ~ 5:30 PM start time following the last workshop. Please be sure to mark your calendars!

*Early bird enrollment is always highly encouraged as space is limited and workshops tend to fill months in advance.

TUITION: $240 / SIX WEEKS

PLEASE BRING:

• a labeled water bottle AND a healthy + hearty + nut-free labeled snack in a bag/small backpack
• dress for a creative (permanent/non-washable) mess
