This workshop is a "happy happening" for young + aspiring artists! Offered as dynamic drop-off + weekly experience. Artists will explore new + interesting + engaging materials, tools, and techniques for experimentation and creative development. Artists will enjoy coming together in a small "creative community" and interacting with other "mini makers" in the heart Main. This workshop will be process-based, with a focus on the art experience. Artists will develop creative confidence within their community and bring home art they are connected with and proud of accomplishing. Mediums may including paint, mixed media, clay, wood, assemblage, and more! Children will learn to express themselves through the arts with confidence and joy. Parents will LOVE meeting new parents, plus enjoy a little freedom at the start of the week! Artists will be recognized with a mini-exhibit + recognition ceremony midway and at the end of our time together! Classes are one hour in length. Children will enjoy creating in our beautiful art studio with natural morning light!

Hands-on + mixed media elements will include paint, clay, 3D + pop-out + multi-dimension elements, wood, and more! Animal favorites may include arctic fox, polar bears, wolves, ptarmigan, moose, caribou, polar bear, snow owl, narwal, reindeer, puffin, harp seal, and more! This snowy showcase will set to "snow + sparkle + shine" just in time for the wintery holiday! We'll bring together all we have learned + created with a mini-exhibit + recognition ceremony at the end of our eight weeks together for family and friends to enjoy! Artists will venture into the radiant and rare rainforest while exploring rainforest wildlife and their wild habitat using a bright + vibrant neon color pallet while creating a mixed media powerful piece that will surely make a pop, especially under black light, as creatures climb out and become artfully alive.
