WORKSHOP: Colors Collide with Complete Contrast: A Creative-n-Colorful Culmination on Canvas

Wednesdays/Ages 6 -10+/January7, 14, 21, 28 + February 4, 11 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.
Thursdays/Ages 6 -10+/January 8, 15, 22, 29 + February 5, 12 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Craft, create, come together, and creatively connect as ~ Colors Collide with Complete Contrast: A Creative-n-Colorful Culmination on Canvas. Artists will explore color mixing and have opportunity to create their own curated collection of color; lively learning to handcraft, merrily mix, & artfully arrange ~ tints, shades, tones, warms-n-cools, + work in vibrant fluorescents, to awake & adventure. Artists will develop a strong sense of creating with color by immersing in a playful process of exploring a plentiful pallet to P-O-P. Along with color mixing, artist will explore lavish layers, tempting textures, savvy shapes, and playful patterns, in an overall artful abstract. Eventually, the expressive artist will excite-n-entice with a bold black addition, to highlight the happy hues, for the collide of complete contrast finale. Artists will learn to trust their artful intuition and explore with their artistic eye. This journey will be focused on a playful process of exploration & artistic adventure. We'll bring it all together with a mini-exhibit + recognition ceremony display for creative interaction for our collaborative community of children! We love our mini-exhibits as they create confidence & community connection for artists to sparkle + shine + showcase their success in the studio!
Oh YES!!! A custom + colorful + clever creation, celebrating childhood in constant creative commotion, crafted & curated by children in the heart of the creative community of Carbondale | CO. Indeed, always making moments & memories on Main Street in the majestic mountains!
*Mini art show & recognition ceremonies are celebrated at the end of each last workshop ~ 5:30 PM start time following the last workshop. Please be sure to mark your calendars!
*Early bird enrollment is always highly encouraged as space is limited and workshops tend to fill months in advance.
