WORKSHOP: An Arid & Abstractly Armored lil' Artful Armadillo: Always Artistically Alluring & Assembled for Awe

MINI EXHIBIT + RECOGNITION CEREMONY FOR FAMILIES OF THE ARTIST: Starting at 5:30 PM for families/friends of the artist, following the last student workshop! Please pencil in this special event on your creative calendar!

Tuesdays/Ages 6 -10+/February 17, 24 + March 3, 10, 17, 24 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

Wednesdays/Ages 6 -10+/February 18, 25 + March 4, 11, 18, 25 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

Thursdays/Ages 6 -10+/February 19, 26 + March 5, 12, 19, 26 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

TIME: 4 - 5:30 PM

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Pop on over for a pretty + patterned + playful {3D} process with plenty of pizazz & pop, cleverly crafting-n-creating ~ An Arid & Abstractly Armored, oh yes, a lil' Artful Armadillo! Artists will dive into learning about these unique lil' creatures as they move from 2D to 3D in design & construction. Students will work together to use up-cycled materials to construct an artful armature, to then, explore {happy & hands-on} in paper-mâché, paint, mixed-media, and delightful-n-decorative artful add-ons, for a very interactive-n-imaginative + eye-catchy-n-complete culmination! These scrumptious yet strong, three-dimensional lil' sculptures, will be vibrant-n-bold with extra exciting expression & wondrous-n-wild color to complete. Your family will definitely want to parade this one down Main Street. Children have artfully adored our recent "studio signature sculptures" ~ the sloth, the chameleon & the froggy, oh yes, all three! We'll bring it all together with a mini-exhibit + recognition ceremony display for creative interaction for our collaborative community of children! We love our mini-exhibits as they create confidence & community connection for artists to sparkle + shine + showcase their success in the studio!

Oh YES!!! A custom + colorful + clever creation, celebrating childhood in constant creative commotion, crafted & curated by children in the heart of the creative community of Carbondale | CO. Indeed, always making moments & memories on Main Street in the majestic mountains!

*Mini art show & recognition ceremonies are celebrated at the end of each last workshop ~ 5:30 PM start time following the last workshop. Please be sure to mark your calendars!

*Early bird enrollment is always highly encouraged as space is limited and workshops tend to fill months in advance.

TUITION: $260/ SIX WEEKS

PLEASE BRING:

• a labeled water bottle AND a healthy + hearty + nut-free labeled snack in a bag/small backpack
• dress for a creative (permanent/non-washable) mess
