MINI EXHIBIT + RECOGNITION CEREMONY FOR FAMILIES OF THE ARTIST: Starting at 5:30 PM for families/friends of the artist, following the last student workshop! Please pencil in this special event on your creative calendar!

Thursdays/Ages 6 -10+/April 9, 16, 23, 30 + May 7, 14 ~ Art Show begins at 5:30 PM on last class.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Giddy up into springtime with our ~ Giggling Giraffes Gathered in Gazing & Goofy Googles: On-the-GO in Go-Karts & Golf-Carts, in the Garden! Take a daring drive with a forever tempting-n-tall favorite ~ the giraffe for a wild-n-wondrous ride in the studio. Artists will explore and ignite their imaginations with a NEW happy-n-humorous {soon-to-be} favorite! Artists will cleverly create in 2D and mixed media while exploring sketching, drawing, illustration, daydreaming and downright delighting in a darling display. Excite and ignite as these terrifically tall creatures squish-n-squeeze into their favorite four-wheeled rides {go-karts & golf-carts} racing through an overgrown, but oh so ~ glowing gorgeous garden...oh yes, just in time for a spectacular spring! Artists will interact and explore sketching, drawing, interacting with playful paint & color materials, motioning mixed media ~ glues, layering, artful additions, and more, to ultimately create a clever composition with happiness-n-humor, humanized animals with expression, clever-n-colorful costume design ... definitely developing a piece that brings a smile inside the studio! We'll bring it all together with a mini-exhibit + recognition ceremony display for creative interaction for our collaborative community of children! We love our mini-exhibits as they create confidence & community connection for artists to sparkle + shine + showcase their success in the studio!

Oh YES!!! A custom + colorful + clever creation, celebrating childhood in constant creative commotion, crafted & curated by children in the heart of the creative community of Carbondale | CO. Indeed, always making moments & memories on Main Street in the majestic mountains!

*Mini art show & recognition ceremonies are celebrated at the end of each last workshop ~ 5:30 PM start time following the last workshop. Please be sure to mark your calendars!

*Early bird enrollment is always highly encouraged as space is limited and workshops tend to fill months in advance.

TUITION: $260/ SIX WEEKS

PLEASE BRING:

• a labeled water bottle AND a healthy + hearty + nut-free labeled snack in a bag/small backpack
• dress for a creative (permanent/non-washable) mess
